Things to Know

Kewaunee Moonriders will be hosting a Fish Boil on Saturday, September 16th at the Marina in Kewaunee.  Fish, Hot dogs and cold beer will be on the menu.
Watch for more details to be posted soon here on the websit as well as on facebook.

Trail passes are $10 each (compared to $30each if you are not a member of the moonriders or another AWSC affiliated club.) Simply go to awsc.org, click on the trail pass link and the form for purchasing your passes will load. Note: you will need the  snowmobile registration # for each sled you plan to purchase a pass for as well as well as your AWSC I.D. # (which can be found on the your yellow membership card from the AWSC , or on the mailing label of the Wisconsin Snowmobiler magazine that you receive as an AWSC and Moonriders member.) If you are a new member or an existing member and have missplaced your card you can contact Jerry Peot @ (920)655-0522) to get your AWSC i.d.#.  Also note that your AWSC # stays with you for life, will be the same each year, just needs to be renewed which is done by the Moonriders once we receive your Moonriders membership dues. ($10 of  your  $25 Moonriders membership goes to the AWSC.)

Fine for riding trails without a trail pass = $200.50

Looking for Youth Involvement!!!

The Moonriders are looking for the next generation of snowmobilers. The club celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2011, and is looking for new leadership for the future. For the club to continue, and the trails to be maintained, we need younger people to carry on what was started in 1971.

One way to start is by forming a youth club under the guidance of the Moonriders. Go around asking friends and classmates who are interested or involved in snowmobiling. Advertise in the Kewaunee Schools to find additional members, include a time and place to meet. Not everything has to be work. Don't worry if it starts out small, it will grow as the word gets out.

Even the smallest person can change the future.

THANK YOU!!!

We want to extend a great big THANKS to the land owners of Kewaunee County that allow us to use their property for our recreation. Without their generous support, there would be no snowmobile trails to ride on. Please stay on the marked trails to respect their wishes. Click here to visit a list of those that have been so generous. If you see them around, be sure to thank them in person.
